Josh Flanders – Director of Development
Josh Flanders holds a Masters from Northwestern University with a 4.0 GPA. Since 2000, Josh has worked in the nonprofit industry as a nonprofit founder, Executive Director, Development Director, and Board member.
Josh began his career working as a teacher. He quickly progressed to working in the nonprofit sector by founding the Chicago Institute for the Moving Image (CIMI) and the Festival for Cinema of the Deaf, the first of its kind. During his career, Josh oversaw development of film festivals throughout N. America, London, Moscow, Milan, and Toronto. Josh has worked for world-renowned nonprofits and film festivals such as the Miami International Film Festival and Chicago International Children’s Film Festival. Josh is a graduate of comedy and music studies at The Second City Conservatory in Chicago.
