3rd Annual Guitars Over Guns Jimmy Ranoha Memorial Golf Tournament

Empowering youth. Honoring a legacy.

The 3rd Annual Guitars Over Guns Jimmy Ranoha Memorial Golf Tournament will expand Guitars Over Guns’ impact to reach more of Chicago’s most deserving youth, and will carry on the legacy of an amazing man who left us too soon. Join us on Friday, September 27th at Pine Meadow Golf Club as we enjoy a day on the links, elegant refreshments, great company, and a great cause. The event was the personal mission of longtime Guitars Over Guns friend Jimmy Ranoha, who was planning the 1st annual tournament when he passed away suddenly in 2016.

The day kicks off with lunch at noon, followed by tee-off at 12:30 and a light dinner beginning at 5:15. Proceeds support the Guitars Over Guns mission to change the lives of youth through music education and mentoring.

“He was a uniquely loving human being, with one of the biggest hearts on the planet,” says Guitars Over Guns Co-Founder Bob Bernstein. “And his spirit is still shining down on us – since that first event, we’ve raised an unbelievable $2 million and are now mentoring well over 800 students.” To help honor Jimmy and support the organization he loved, join us as a tournament sponsor or player, and make an impact in the lives of our community’s most deserving youth.
