Our Miami students brought the house down at our annual Spring Showcase! From student artwork on display, to live dance and music performances on Ball & Chain’s iconic Pineapple Stage, these incredible young artists impressed the crowd with their talent, professionalism, and exuberance.

More than 100 GOGO students convened for the showcase, presenting a collaborative concert featuring the talents of Miami-Dade middle schoolers from our programs at Cutler Bay, Citrus Grove, North Miami, Georgia Jones-Ayers, and Jose de Diego middle schools, as well as the Music Solutions Lab at Educate Tomorrow. Highlights included special GOGO covers of popular songs such as “Counting Stars,” “Lean on Me,” “Titanium,” and the hit song to be featured in our forthcoming music video, “Express Yourself.”

Our annual Showcase is just one of many opportunities students have throughout the year to share their talents and express themselves through the positive power of the arts. “These performance opportunities help develop our students’ artistic growth,” said Dr. Chad Bernstein, GOGO’s Founder & CEO. “By giving them a public stage for their voice to be heard, these performances help our youth establish self-confidence, leadership, and the ability to connect with others in an extremely positive way.”

We’re grateful to Ball & Chain for hosting us, to Wynwood Brewing Company and Tito’s Handmade Vodka for providing drinks and supporting our mission, and to the awesome audience who came to cheer our students on! Can’t wait to see what next year’s Showcase has in store!
